- Give us accurate information when you sign up
- Keep your information up to date
- Keep your password secure and don't share it
- Tell us right away if someone uses your account without permission
- Be at least 13 years old

4. Pricing and Subscriptions
4.1 Our Plans
Choose the plan that works for you:
- Free: Basic workouts, view the community, and 1 skip per month. Free users see ads (Google Ads).
- Premium Monthly: $9.99/month - Everything unlocked: unlimited skips, AI coaching, custom plans, and no ads
- Premium Annual: $71.99/year (just $6/month - save 40%) - Same as monthly, better value
About Ads: Free users see ads provided by Google Ads. These ads help us keep the app free. Upgrade to Premium anytime to remove all ads. We do not control which specific ads are shown - that's handled by Google based on their advertising policies.
For more information, see Google's Advertising Policies and Google's Privacy Policy.
4.2 Try Premium Free for 21 Days
New users can try Premium free for 21 days. Here's how it works:
- One trial per person: You can only use the free trial once
- No charge during trial: We won't charge you if you cancel before the trial ends
- Automatic billing: After 21 days, you'll be charged automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends
- Easy to cancel: Cancel anytime in your device settings (see Section 4.5 for instructions)
4.3 How Billing Works
We use Apple or Google to handle payments, so we never see your credit card details. When you subscribe, you're giving them permission to charge you each month or year.
4.4 Subscriptions Renew Automatically
Your subscription renews automatically unless you cancel it. We'll charge you up to 24 hours before your renewal date at the current price.
Here's how it works:
- Monthly: Renews every 30 days
- Annual: Renews every 365 days
4.5 How to Cancel Your Subscription
You can cancel anytime. When you cancel, you keep Premium access until the end of what you've already paid for (your current billing period).
Here's how to cancel:
- iPhone/iPad: Open Settings → tap your name at top → Subscriptions → Kettlebe → Cancel Subscription
- Android: Open Google Play Store → tap Menu (three lines) → Subscriptions → Kettlebe → Cancel Subscription
About Refunds:
- Generally, all payments are final - we don't refund for partial months
- Live in Europe? You have 14 days from purchase to get a full refund (EU consumer protection law)
- Other regions: Refunds may be available based on local laws or on a case-by-case basis
- Need a refund? Contact support within the refund period
4.6 If We Change Prices
Sometimes we may need to adjust our subscription prices. If we do increase prices:
- We'll email you and notify you in the app at least 30 days before
- The new price starts at your next renewal date (not immediately)
- If you keep using Kettlebe after the change, it means you're okay with the new price
- Don't like the new price? Just cancel before your next renewal - no hard feelings!
5. What You Post and How to Behave
5.1 Your Workouts and Posts
You can share workouts, comments, and profile info in Kettlebe. Here's how it works:
- You own everything you post - it's still yours
- But you give us permission to show it in the app (otherwise we couldn't display your workouts to the community!)
- Make sure you have the right to post what you share (don't steal other people's content)
- Other users might see your posts based on your privacy settings
- We won't pay you for what you post, and we might show your name/photo with your content
5.2 Community Rules - Don't Do These Things
To keep Kettlebe a friendly place, please don't:
- Fake your workout data or cheat the system
- Bully, harass, or be mean to other users
- Post anything illegal, hateful, or inappropriate
- Steal other people's content or violate copyrights
- Try to hack or break the app
- Use bots or automated tools to scrape data
- Use Kettlebe to run your business (without asking us first)
- Send spam or junk messages
- Pretend to be someone else
- Upload viruses or malicious code
- Collect other users' personal info without permission
5.3 We Keep Things Clean
If someone posts something that breaks these rules or is inappropriate, we can remove it, edit it, or disable it at any time. We don't actively monitor everything, but we step in when needed.
6. Important Health and Safety Information
Kettlebe helps you track workouts and provides fitness guidance, but we're not doctors. This app is for educational purposes only and doesn't replace professional medical advice.
6.1 Talk to Your Doctor First
- Before starting: Check with your doctor before beginning any new exercise program, especially if you have health conditions, injuries, or concerns
- We're not medical professionals: Kettlebe doesn't provide medical advice or create a doctor-patient relationship
- Results vary: We can't promise specific fitness results, weight loss, or muscle gains - everyone's different!
- AI coaching: Our AI suggestions are automated and might not be right for your specific situation
6.2 Exercise Can Be Risky
Kettlebell training and bodyweight exercises involve physical effort and come with risks like muscle strains, sprains, fractures, or worse. To stay safe:
- Stop if something feels wrong: Pain, dizziness, shortness of breath, chest discomfort - stop immediately!
- Use proper form and technique
- Start with weights and difficulty levels that match your current fitness
- Work out in a safe space with enough room
6.3 In an Emergency
IF YOU HAVE A MEDICAL EMERGENCY:
- Call 911 (US), 112 (EU), or your local emergency number immediately
- Get professional medical help
- Don't rely on the app! The app, AI coaching, and community can't help in emergencies
6.4 You're Working Out at Your Own Risk
By using Kettlebe and following any workout plans, you accept all risks. We're not responsible for injuries, health problems, or anything that happens from using the app or doing the exercises.
7. Our App and Content Are Protected
We own all the content, design, code, and features in Kettlebe. It's protected by copyright and trademark laws. Please don't:
- Copy, modify, or create your own version of our app
- Sell or distribute any part of Kettlebe
- Try to reverse engineer or hack the app code
- Remove copyright notices or our branding
- Use our name or logo without our permission
"Kettlebe" and our logo are trademarks of Aleš Mráz (Author). All rights reserved.
8. Other Services We Use
Kettlebe works with other companies' services to make the app work better:
- RevenueCat (manages subscriptions)
- Firebase/Expo Push (sends you notifications)
- Analytics tools (help us understand how people use the app)
- Error tracking (helps us fix bugs)
- Apple and Google (handle payments)
- Hetzner Cloud (hosts our servers in Europe)
- OneSignal (for emails and future push notifications)
These companies have their own privacy policies and terms. We're not responsible for what they do - make sure you're comfortable with their policies too!
9. Deleting Your Account
9.1 If You Want to Leave
You can delete your account anytime by going to app settings and deleting your account.
Important: Deleting your account is permanent and can't be undone!
Once deleted, you'll lose all your workout history, streaks, and community posts forever. If you're on Premium, you can keep using it until the end of your billing period, then you'll drop to the Free plan.
9.2 If We Need to Remove Your Account
We can suspend or delete your account if:
- You break these rules
- We think you're doing something fraudulent, abusive, or illegal
- The law or a court requires it
- We shut down Kettlebe (we'll give you notice)
- You're harming other users or the app
9.3 What Happens After Account Deletion
When your account is deleted:
- You can't use Kettlebe anymore
- We'll delete your data according to our Privacy Policy
- Some parts of these terms still apply (like intellectual property rules)
- You still owe us for any charges before deletion
10. What We're Not Responsible For
10.1 The App Works "As Is"
We provide Kettlebe as-is, which means we can't promise it will be perfect, always available, or completely bug-free. We work hard to make it great, but tech isn't perfect!
10.2 We Can't Guarantee Results
Everyone's fitness journey is different. We can't promise specific weight loss, muscle gain, or fitness improvements - results depend on you, your genetics, diet, effort, and many other factors.
10.3 Limits on Our Liability
To the maximum extent the law allows, we're not liable for:
- Lost profits, data, or other indirect damages
- Problems from using (or not being able to use) the app
- Injuries or health issues from workouts
- Unauthorized access to your account or data
- Bugs, viruses, or harmful code
- Errors in content or lost data
Maximum liability: If something goes wrong, the most we'll pay you is either what you paid us in the last 12 months, or $100 - whichever is more.
(Some places don't allow these limits, so if you live there, we'll limit our liability as much as the law permits.)
11. If You Cause Problems
If someone sues us because of something you did, you agree to cover our legal costs and any damages. This includes situations where:
- You used Kettlebe in a way that broke the law
- You violated these terms
- You violated someone else's rights
- Something you posted caused problems
- You broke any promises you made in these terms
12. We Might Update These Terms
We may change these terms occasionally. If we make big changes, we'll let you know by one of these ways:
- Updating the date at the top of this page
- Sending you an email
- Showing a notice in the app
- Asking you to accept the new terms before you can continue (for major changes)
If you keep using Kettlebe after we update the terms, it means you're okay with the changes. If you're not okay with them, you can cancel your subscription and stop using the app.
13. If We Have a Disagreement
13.1 Which Laws Apply
These terms are governed by the laws of your country of residence, or where permitted by law, the jurisdiction where Kettlebe is based.
13.2 Let's Talk First
Before you sue us or we go to court, let's try to work it out! Contact us through the app and we'll do our best to fix the problem. If we can't resolve it informally, then we can take formal legal action.
13.3 How Disputes Get Resolved
Any disputes will be resolved in the courts that have jurisdiction based on your location and applicable consumer protection laws. Small claims may be brought in small claims court.
14. Other Legal Stuff
14.1 The Complete Deal
These terms, plus our Privacy Policy, are the complete agreement between us. They replace any previous agreements or conversations about using Kettlebe.
14.2 If Part Is Invalid
If a court says one part of these terms is invalid, the rest still applies.
14.3 Just Because We Don't Enforce Something...
If we don't enforce a rule right away, it doesn't mean we're giving up that rule. We can still enforce it later.
14.4 You Can't Transfer Your Account
You can't give your Kettlebe account to someone else without our permission. We can transfer our rights and obligations (like if we get acquired by another company).
14.5 Things Beyond Our Control
We're not responsible if we can't provide the service due to things we can't control - like natural disasters, wars, internet outages, or other emergencies.
14.6 Just Between Us
These terms are just between you and Kettlebe - nobody else can enforce them.
14.7 Export Laws
You agree to follow all international laws about exporting software and data.
